This week my eyes were bigger than my stomach. I had in mind to continue to roll from last week. However, unlike last week I was back working. It turned out that my eyes were bigger than my stomach.

I had hoped to keep rolling with the running introduction. Sadly, that is what I cut out. I have a gravel race coming up so time in the saddle is more important.

Despite being less than planned I did get 5 sessions in on the bike, a good mix of climbing and bulk areobic work.

Early in the week I was pretty flat. I think the combination of the size of last week along with being back at the desk were a bit much. Into the weekend I started to feel much stronger. I did a couple of long rides and was pleased with how those felt.
