Sunday Summary 04-Sep-2022
Down week having raced on the weekend. Unpaved was a very solid effort and took quite a lot from me.
I did a real easy pedal on monday that really helped clear the legs out. I also doubled down on the mobility work I do to open my hips.
Being in the alpine for the later part of the week I got a couple of big hikes and a run in. A nice change of pace, the long hikes with lots of vertical are a nice fill in for a long run.
For the first time in what feels like forever Steph and I got out for a ride together. It was her first trip into the bike park - chair lift based downhill mountain biking. Our first run was a bit rough, she set it down and was a bit shaken. We put in two more runs following and she started to get more comfortable.
Time to put in a few solid weeks leading into the Burnt Bridge.
