Last week in the alpine. It has been an incredible time, I really can’t get over how much fun we all have had over the past weeks.

Downhill skied every day but Sunday, we were heading home Sunday so there were lots of chores to get through. Also had 4 mountain doubles in there - solid XC skies Tuesday through Friday.

Friday’s XC ski was fun - it was my son’s first try. He seemed to really enjoy it. We caught up to Steph just as she was finishing her perimeter ski. She and a friend set out to ski the complete perimeter of the XC trails, around about 30K. It was super fun to ski the final 2K with the whole family.

What a wonderful winter season we have had this year. It really was spectacular. I really do love being in the alpine, I find it so very calming - the peaks keep you honest about how important you really are. Having said that, I am looking forwards to being back home and getting out on my bike now that spring is in the air.
