Sunday Summary 28-June-2026
5x Bike 1x Mountain Bike
A big week. Six rides totaling 133 km and 843 m of climbing — more than double last week’s 55 km and 224 m. The volume came back in a big way after the quieter previous week, with a mountain bike ride thrown in for good measure.
Every weekday morning had a gravel ride. Monday and Tuesday were shorter efforts around 17 km each, building into Thursday’s loop at 25.7 km and Friday’s at 26.2 km. Saturday was the standout: a 37 km ride out to Holt Hill with 219 m of climbing and nearly 1000 calories burned. Sunday capped it off with a mountain bike session in Langford — 9.7 km with 333 m of elevation gain, the most climbing of any single ride this week despite being the shortest distance.
Last week only had three rides and the week felt incomplete. This one was the opposite — a full schedule with the kind of climbing and distance that makes a training week count.
